Rogue pastors, fake miracles and murder

Christianity is the foundation of African existence for hundreds of millions.

However, a rash of pastors who are stealing the trust and believing of their followers in order to make money and power has led to a struggle for the soul and survival of Christianity in Africa.

Peter Macjob, Africa Eye’s reporter for Africa, travels to Uganda in order to meet new religious movements that reject Christian conventions as well as families who have suffered devastating losses from rogue pastors.

What is the future of Ugandan believers?
