War in Ukraine: Inside Chernobyl after the Russian occupation

After returning to Ukraine, Chernobyl’s nuclear power plant can again be accessed.

The plant is located in the northern part of Ukraine. It was taken by Russian troops the first day of the invasion. However, it has been retaken by Ukraine’s armed force.

Yogita Limaye, a journalist for BBC, was among the first to visit the site. She also spoke with some of the workers.
