US believes Russia is planning strikes on Ukraine infrastructure soon-official

A US official stated Monday that intelligence suggests Russia has plans to launch new attacks on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure.

We have information that Russia will be launching strikes against Ukraine’s civil infrastructure and government facilities over the next few days. The official stated that Russian military strikes are a continuing threat to civilian infrastructure and civilian civilians, given its track record in Ukraine.


According to the official, the statement was based upon downgraded US intelligence.
