Latvia brings down World War Two memorial

Latvia’s parliament voted to take down all Soviet plaques and statues.

Estonia joined Estonia in the removal of World War Two monuments as a response to Russia’s invasion.

The monument was removed using demolition machinery. It measured 79 metres (259 feet) in height.
