Thailand: Nursery attack witness ‘begged for mercy’

At least 37 people have been killed in an attack at a childcare centre in north-eastern Thailand.

Witnesses who say they saw the attacker approaching the centre have been speaking to Reuters news agency.

One woman says she thought he was coming to pick up his child, “because he (was) a parent of one of the kids” at the centre.
