EU ministers recommended to take a tougher stance on China – FT

The Financial Times reported Monday (17/10) that ministers of the European Union were advised to be more tough on China in advance negotiations on revising Brussels’ strategy towards Beijing.

A paper prepared by the bloc’s international services and seen by FT states that the union should cooperate closely with the United States, strengthen its cyber defense, and diversify its supply chain away from China.

According to the paper, China had “become a stronger global competitor than the US and EU”
