LUKOIL adopts human rights policy

PJSC LUKOIL approved LUKOIL’s Group’s Human Rights Policy. This document combines relevant regulations previously created by the Company with other regulatory requirements and initiatives.

The Human Rights Policy governs the rights of employees of LUKOIL Group in employment relations, as well as their safety and health rights. It also guarantees employees’ freedom to organize and collectively bargain.

The policy also includes a separate chapter that focuses on the observance and respect of cultural, economic, and social rights. This includes the rights of indigenous peoples and communities living in the countries and regions where LUKOIL Group operations are conducted in accordance with international law.

LUKOIL, along with its contractors and suppliers, has introduced a policy to encourage them to respect international human rights.
