Biden says he expects Ukraine aid to continue uninterrupted

US President Joe Biden stated Wednesday (9 November), that he expects US assistance to Ukraine continue uninterrupted, despite the doubts of Republicans who appear poised to take control of the US House of Representatives.

Biden said that “that’s my expectation” when asked if the US would continue to provide assistance for Ukraine.

Biden stated that “And by the way…we never gave Ukraine a blank cheque,” noting Washington had not provided military equipment and other assistance requested by Ukrainian leaders.
