Pentagon says can’t confirm Russian missiles struck inside Poland

Tuesday’s (15 November) statement by the Pentagon denied that Russian missiles had crossed into Poland at the Ukraine border.

“We are aware that there have been reports in the media that two Russian missiles may have hit a Polish border area. I can confirm that we do not have the information necessary to verify these reports. We are investigating this further,” Brig. General Patrick Ryder spoke at a news conference.

Two people were killed in an explosion at Przewodow in Poland on Tuesday, according to firefighters. Przewodow is a village located in eastern Poland close to the Ukraine border. Polish Radio ZET reported that on Tuesday two stray missiles struck Przewodow, killing two people without providing any additional details
