Slovakia’s minority government loses no-confidence vote

Despite desperate efforts to win support, the Slovakian minority government lost Thursday’s no confidence vote in Parliament (15 December). As the country seeks to reduce rising energy prices, this causes political instability.

With 78 members, the 150-seat parliament approved the motion of no confidence.
