Baby pink iguanas spotted for first time in Galapagos Islands

Scientists discovered baby pink iguanas in the wild for the first time.

They are only found in a small portion of the Galapagos Islands and are considered critically endangered. There are only a few hundred remaining.

In 2009, the animals were not recognized as a distinct species.
