Nala, the dog that went missing when she was separated from her owner on a Christmas Eve hike through the snowy mountains near Waterfall Canyon in Utah, went missing.
After her owner failed to locate her, she spent Christmas Eve night alone. Nala was found by her owner above a waterfall, but her climb was too steep for him to reach her due to the steep terrain.
He reported her missing and the Weber County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue team were then able to locate her.
Nala was saved by the team and returned to her family at Christmas.
