Volodymyr Zeleskiy was told by Sunak’s office on Tuesday (3/11/2015) that Rishi Sunak (the British prime minister), had said to him that Ukraine’s president could count on Britain’s long-term support after recent drone attacks.
“The leaders discussed drone strikes on Ukraine in recent days,” a spokesperson said in a statement, after leaders had spoken earlier that day.
“The prime minister said that Ukraine could rely on the UK to support it over the long-term as demonstrated by the recent delivery of more than 1,000 antiair missiles.”
