Putin ally suggests confiscating property of Russian war critics



Russian President Vladimir Putin was approached by a close ally to suggest confiscating property and assets of Russians who oppose wars in Ukraine and discrediting Russia’s armed forces.

Vyacheslav Volodin, the Russian Duma’s speaker, stated that current measures like fines for criticizing what Moscow calls “special army operations” in Ukraine are not enough.
