Ukrainian soldiers receive bionic arms

Two Ukrainian soldiers lost their hands in an explosion of a landmine and are among the first to receive a new prosthetic.

Vitalii Ivashchuk and Andrii Gidzun were seen being fitted with bionic arms.

Open Bionics, a British tech firm, created the 3D-printed prosthetics and flew a team to Munich, Germany.

With support from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Superhumans is currently building a hospital in Lviv to aid those who have lost their limbs.
