New drone footage shows how much waste has clogged the picturesque River Drina in Balkans.
Experts believe that household items such as fridges, and other plastic waste, are also floating in the waters.
The river runs along a section of the border between Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina for over 20 years.
Dejan Furtula is the president of Udruzenje gradana Eko Centar Visegrad. He said that this was a source for great embarrassment because we are unable to resolve this problem for such a long time.
