New Zealand: Jacinda Ardern’s last day as prime minister

Jacinda Ardern attended an annual meeting of Maori elders and politicians in Ratana before she handed over to Chris Hipkins.

This was her final official act as prime Minister of New Zealand.

Ardern stated that he was ready to become a backbench MP and that he is ready to be a mother and sister.
