Azerbaijan hosts Summit-level Meeting of NAM Contact Group in response to COVID-19 on post-pandemic global recovery

Baku has seen the start of the Summit-level Meeting of NAM Contact Group to respond to COVID-19 regarding post-pandemic global recovery.

The Summit will be attended by heads of state and government from 70 countries. These include Presidents of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkmenistan and Uzkistan, Uzkistan, Iraq and Libya, Vice Presidents of Cuba and Gabon, Kenya, and Tanzania.

High-ranking representatives of the Non-Aligned Movement’s Contact Group participated in the Summit-Level Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement’s Contact Group to respond to COVID-19 post-pandemic global Recovery held in Baku. This is yet another sign that Azerbaijan contributes to the organization’s activities.

This important Summit, where global issues are addressed, was hosted by Azerbaijan. It is a sign of the importance Azerbaijan places on multilateralism as well as global solidarity.
