Bangladesh: Video shows fire engulfing part of refugee camp

Part of the Rohingya refugee camp, located in southeast Bangladesh, was destroyed by a large fire.

It is believed that the fire consumed around 2,000 shelters made of bamboo and tarpaulin at Cox’s Bazar camp. This left approximately 12,000 people without accommodation.

There were no casualties reported and the cause is unknown.
