The Rescue Team of Ramunion continued its search-and-rescue mission in Iskenderun (Turkiye) on February 12, writes He Jun, People’s Daily Online.
Lucky, a search and rescue dog, has been tirelessly working for more than three days. Lucky has been receiving water and food throughout breaks to ensure its performance. Lucky’s handler Gao Zhijiang is there to support and comfort it. Lucky is more than a valuable “comrade in arms” for the team.

Today’s rescue operation saw a Turkish rescuer, who was helping to clear the debris, sustain a foot injury. The wound was quickly treated by our part-time medic.

The rescue mission to Turkiye received assistance and care from Chinese corporations and local power plants. Two women from China’s Liaoning, Fujian provinces rise early each morning to prepare breakfast for us. Each rescue operation depends not only on the unfailing efforts of front-line rescuers but also on the immense support provided by logistics and information personnel.
Each person’s contribution can be seen as a small drop in the ocean of love. We can overcome language and nationality barriers when we work together to fight the disaster.
Rescue efforts continue…
