Dmitry Klenov sells his stake in Russia’s top children’s goods retailer Detsky Mir

Dmitry Klenov sold all of his investment in the company, leaving no other big stakeholder.

Mr Klenov had made a binding agreement to sell his 10% stake in October 2022. After receiving all clearances, the purchase was completed on March 10, 2023.

The deal means that Mr Klenov has no direct or indirect stake in Detsky Mir. This corresponds to his stated goal of selling off assets in Russian companies.

Detsky Mir is a leading Russian digital retailer and a leader in children’s products. It owns more than a thousand stores in Russia and Kazakhstan.
